This is the kind of furniture that requires careful consideration before making a choice. Essential for storing numerous pieces of crockery, it is not the discreet type. The good old wooden sideboard makes a statement, will not be easily forgotten and is not easy to move. So take the time to assess the impact, in terms of volume, space and decoration, before bringing a "dresser" or other sideboard into your home. If chosen well and cleverly positioned, you will have every reason to be pleased with its presence. It makes storing crockery, cutlery and linen much easier.

A low dresser version

The two-part sideboard is famous, but it requires high ceilings and a lot of space. This is one of the reasons why the Saulaie catalogue gives pride of place to low models, more or less wide (with two or three doors) and, in some cases, with drawers. In the antique dresser register, Saulaie takes you on a journey between rustic finishes, Louis XV style (Provencal) and Louis XVI style (Berry range). Our selection finally broadens your vision of the antique sideboard, thanks to a range of models evoking the world of hunting on the one hand (Saint Hubert sideboard) and other creations inspired by the sea (Officier range).

A corner cupboard, to gain some height

The Saulaie selection of dressers and sideboards cannot be limited to the "low sideboard" alone. To take advantage of the verticality of a room, without cluttering it up too much, the corner cupboard is an interesting option. There is certainly a low model with a drawer and a single moulded door. Others are more imposing, such as the Louis XVI "Berry" corner cupboard, a very beautiful storage unit with four doors and two drawers. A piece of furniture in solid wood, stained walnut, made in the old style, with wooden dowels.
