The House of Saulaie offers on all its latest collections a full-grain aniline leather, i.e. dyed with natural, non-chemical products that are respectful of the environment. The hides are not immersed in chemical baths that standardise their appearance and colour, but are dyed manually with natural materials that pigment the hide without removing the traces of the animal's life. This method, called aniline, produces supple and thick leathers with an aged style. The vintage leather club chair is also a chair sewn manually in saddle stitching: each stitch in the leather is sewn independently of the other stitches so that if the thread breaks, the rest of the line does not give way. Finally, the structure of the clubs is made of solid wood (beech or rubberwood).
