Leather is a living material and time only makes it more beautiful, provided that it is regularly maintained and properly cared for. To adopt the right approach, you must first know what type of leather you want to maintain. The type known as "aniline" shows off the surface of the material to its best advantage. It is simply dyed, without being covered with a protective layer. This is a leather that requires maintenance:

  1. Dust with a soft cloth as regularly as you do for your wooden furniture. Because dust gets into the pores of the leather and dulls its appearance.
  2. Clean the leather when necessary. This removes dirt or sticky dust that is not removed by regular dusting. For this, we recommend a glycerine soap.
  3. Finally, nourish the leather to protect it from external aggressions. The product applied acts as a screen in addition to restoring the leather's shine. This need for hydration is specific to each interior: exposure to light, humidity level, etc. A milk in a bottle can be a good product but will not maintain the colour: our tinted creams are the most suitable for this purpose.

Remember that good maintenance involves regular maintenance first and foremost, rather than a massive application of product from time to time.
