Rather than shaving the sheepskin leather in places marked by the animal's life, or immersing the skins in chemicals to sanitise its appearance, La Maison Saulaie chooses to dye the sheepskin or cowhide without remedying or compensating for the slight pressure sores left by the animal's life.
