We have built our collection of leather armchairs, sofas, chairs and pouffes with the aim of offering fine materials worked according to traditional, high-quality artisanal methods. The project is simple: we want to give consumers access once again to high-quality artisanal workshops, far from the large volumes and low quality offered by brands for several years. Saulaie Paris has resolutely inscribed itself in the long term, both in the proposed design, which proudly claims a timeless elegance, through the demanding selection of materials and the manufacturing methods used. The Square Pouffe is emblematic of the footstools or lounge seats that have evolved due to space constraints or the more urban and nomadic lifestyles of contemporary life.

The leather pouffe is a model of quality work. Mainly sold in leather, the pouffe Chesterfield model or without padding like the Cube square pouffe, a model of simplicity and elegance. The leather offered is aniline leather, dyed according to traditional artisanal methods, with natural products. The leather is not taken back or corrected for imperfections created by the animal's life. On the contrary, these delicate traces give the leather a unique, singular character and a particularly sought-after aged effect. Aged leather, otherwise known as vintage leather, is a full-grain buffalo leather sewn according to old methods used for saddlery. All the stitches are sewn independently of each other so that the line does not give way if a stitch has come undone over time.

The Square Pouffe is a space-saving and functional model that allows for considerable space saving. However, the pouffe, otherwise known as a footstool, to designate this occasional seat in a lounge or in a bedroom, corresponds to a piece of furniture that is both practical, comfortable and decorative. Indeed, Saulaie publishes and republishes different models of leather pouffes to suit different situations. It can be used as an occasional seat, slipped under a table, as an occasional bench or even as a side table support as such. Offered soberly covered in leather or fabric, the Cube square pouffe goes perfectly with leather club armchairs or other leather club sofas in the same colour. Offered in black vintage leather, vintage brown leather, deep brown leather, light brown leather or cognac leather, the pouffe is a model of sober elegance over time. It is also possible to give the pouffe more character and exoticism by choosing more original leather colours such as navy blue, peacock blue, grey-green, olive green, yellow or red. It is then an original touch to support the lively atmosphere of a lounge, a library or a bedroom.

The leather pouffe or fabric pouffe is a resolutely practical and decorative piece of furniture thanks to the many materials offered: natural cotton-linen fabric or warm velvet, the footstool can be declined at will to correspond to your taste or your space constraint. As practical as it is, it is also a comfortable piece of lounge furniture. Worked like its cousin the club armchair, the leather footstool is offered in two models with pronounced padding: the Choiseul footstool or the Middletown footstool. Both offered in leather or fabric, with a solid wood frame, they are distinguished by the addition or not of brass nails to match the chosen leather armchair model. Harmonious in its design, it is also very comfortable thanks to a foam padding more pronounced than on the Cube pouffe model.
